>It is not yet known why the attacker targeted the Heaton Park Synagogue in Manchester.
However, the religious establishment is known for expressing support for the IDF and has engaged in pro-Israel activism amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
On the synagogue’s website, it refers to the “heroic IDF” on a page dedicated to Israel’s war.
The perpetrators father was vocally antizionist. Leading Muslim voices have clearly linked the synagogue to support for “zionism” and “genocide”. Are we saying there was no antizionism in this attack?

Apart from when they attend alongside people who openly support hamas, where people advocate for globalizing the intifada, turning the al aqsa flood into a tsunami across the whole world, attack people for being “openly Jewish”, drive around in cars with Palestinian flags saying “fuck the Jews, rape their daughters”, in Australia openly chant to “gas the Jews”, march with Palestinian flags chanting “Khayber Khayber Ya Yehud, jaish Mohammad sauf yehud” (kill the Jews – there is multiple videos of this from 2021), I could go on and on.
I’ve also been reliably told that, if even one protester is racist then all the protesters must be also.
If you don’t think these protests are not othering Jews and normalising hate against them…

Those attempting to link the protest and the attacks are the ones being antisemitic themselves. I also noted that no one mentioned the Manchester protest yesterday took a one minute silence to remember those who were murdered in cold blood in front of a synagogue.
