I never thought that would work, or at least not well enough to be a general strategy. But i’ve also seen FPV drone interceptors too, at least in testing. Not sure if they are used live.
I’d say it’s cool, but this is pretty scary shit. In 10 years this could be common shit being used by gangs. It’s already so cheap and mass produced.
I always wonder if there would be a way to carry some kind of netting to catch in the blades, leaving the drone to look for secondary target. Double effectiveness.
Smart and way cheaper than manpads or missiles.
