We seen this one before. Elections on Discord in a couple of days. Anyone seen a impromptu journalist on a moped by any chance?
Shta-sucks on
Georgian here. I was there as the gates and fences were torn down. The opposition alluded to having “someone” in high ranks of the police forces or the Ministry of Internal Affairs — for weeks, if not longer. Turns out, there’s no one and they just went 50/50 and led people to storm prsidental palace (which was full with police forces btw, because the info leakd most likely). It was just one more stupid action for which we’re now being discredited in the government’s propagandist media. Just another letdown from the politicians.
If you’re wondering why we’ve had no significant gains after a year of protests, it’s because people are all f***ing alone in this fight.I have never seen so much people in the streets of Tbilisi ever, but it ended up as a total fiasco. This will probably be the end of the protests — and another 4 or 8 years of dictatorship. I’m disappointed, and honestly, my heart is broken.
It was a pleasure fighting for the right cause, but… well. (Sorry if I sound too pessimistic.)
