Real opposition parties are not on the ballot
October 2024 – Parliamentary elections, which had:
– Highest turnout in many years by far
– Some of the strongest political coalitions from opposition
– International watchdogs
The government still rigged elections enough to get an absolute parliamentary majority (even though percentage-wise they got only 55%) and usurped the power
Since then, they have:
– Arrested most of the opposition leaders
– Cracked down NGOs and civil groups
– Permitted the international orgianizations from monitoring the elections
So, this year, the game was rigged from the start. The only choice is to boycot and resist
