They turned away one pro-Palestinian audience member who had a question ready as the production team didn’t like her socials.
Another pro-Palestinian member of the audience asked a Gaza question as the article states:
*The question was good – asking whether the current Trump/Blair/Netanyahu stitch-up disguised as a peace plan can work without the involvement of Palestinians. The rightful owners of Palestine have been almost entirely excluded from the proposals, which are currently being reviewed by Hamas.*
It’s all very upsetting for the journalist who thinks the BBCshould be defunded, which puts him in agreement the likes of the Tory party and reform.
If anybody thinks the removal the publicly owned BBC would improve things than I’ve very bad news for you. corporate media interests and the public’s interests are not aligned.
We need to undo the damage done to the upper BBC management by the Tory party who got to appoint the senior managers inthe wake of the Savile inquiry. Give the appointment power back to the Privy council, a bi-partisan committee of worthies.
