Immigration scams are a pretty big thing in India unfortunately. Hell, there were even cases where some Indians were promised jobs and were forced to fight in russian invasion.
In this case, the Indian embassy will help them out and give emergency travel document to go back to India. But I suspect the reason they’re here is because their fake degree mill UK college (another big scam) shut down, and they don’t want to go back to India.
