> A mosque in East Sussex has been damaged in a suspected arson attack, which police are investigating as a hate crime.
>Fire crews were called to the mosque on Phyllis Avenue in Peacehaven at about 21:50 BST on Saturday.
>While no-one was injured in the incident, the front entrance of the building and a vehicle parked outside were damaged, Sussex Police said in a statement.
>”We understand the concerns this has caused within the community, and the impact that will be felt by the Muslim community as a result,” Det Supt Karrie Bohanna said.

I don’t think people know how unsafe it feels to just be a Muslim woman anymore.
I don’t normally wear hijab but occasionally when I do to attend religious services, I notice more agression. Cars cut me off so dangerously, I started driving much slower just in case. People don’t let me merge at junctions. People don’t stop at crossings. I’m getting body slammed on pavements when there is room, something which almost never happens when I’m not wearing hijab.
Certain men stare at me in a way that feels almost murderous. Like they want me to know what they are thinking.
My uncles who wear full Islamic gear reported they haven’t noticed the body slamming and staring. Which makes me think these racists men only like to target helpless women.
Starmer and his wife will be heading straight down there to offer public support and will try to ban further Jewish protests no doubt.
This is probably just going to get worse and worse, there is already a very high tension due to crime being committed by illegal immigrants which is being associated with the Muslim community, now in Manchester we have a Muslim committing another high profile terrorist attack which is just going to fuel the flames.
Add in the fact that people and news outlets are fanning the flames in order to benefit from it and we now have a real situation where this is just going to continue and get worse with more extreme measures being taken at each and every turn.
Expect Starmer will be “wrapping his arms around” the muslim population any minute now
