The whole affair thing was a bit of a nothing burger. Turns out his wife was well aware, and had already forgiven him years ago. Not as if Strictly has ever been for the dutiful anyway, half of them seem to end up banging each other every year.
He was shit at dancing though, awful.
He fucked up so badly by trying to do the celeb thing and the right wing commentator thing simultaneously. You wanna do them subsequently mate. Racism then dancing as a redemption arc, or dancing for promo then racism when you have fans.

Easy answer, the worst dance of the week, the only thing he could do reliably was the lifts so they leaned hard on it and hoped the spectacle would compensate. If anyone else had been sent home ahead of them I think it would have been a huge controversy.

What a completely unlikely thing to have happened, that has *definitely* never happened before. Or indeed, happened to contestants with their dance partners *during* their time on their show.
Listen, me geezers. Been a proper mental few weeks. Trying to juggle the old TV career, the Strictly Come Dancing moves, and a little bit of a side-ting… it’s been a lot.
Gonna take some time to reflect, get back to basics. Get me head down, graft even harder, and find me again. That’s what a man’s gotta do, innit?

I’m not someone who watches Strictly, but I’m pretty sure this isn’t the first time allegation of an affair occurring. At this point, it seems to be ongoing hazard of this show. I mean, I get it, attractive dancers and celebrity counterparts spending quite a bit of time with each other, it seems inevitable something would happen. My cynical take is that this just marketing for the chattering classes though and there’s probably no real story.
He was voted off because he was a shit dancer. You didn’t even need to know who he was to know he was going home!
There’s a whole cohort of right-wing reality tv-cum-influencer types who are obviously being promoted as a way for legacy institutions to appeal to disaffected conservative audiences, but it’s a total wash as a strategy, because normal people hate them and right-leaning viewers *don’t care* about them. Right-wing celebrities with mass appeal usually had the celebrity first and the conservative politics afterwards, not vice-versa!
