To be fair, it’s all par for the course with FF, bit of the aul graft, bit of aul shenanigans with money that isn’t theirs, not registering as a landlord, being a smarmy cunt about it “oh, I was stressed in 2008, so I just felt I deserved both parachutes”.
So Michael Martin lied point blank on the six one yesterday during his interview when he said he did not know about this until before the weekend.
He fits in nicely with all the other corrupt wankers so.
Is anyone surprised?
O’Callaghan will be Taoiseach by November
I’d believe it. I can see Michael and the team fobbing it off and not treating it as a concern. That’s how out of touch they are.
“It’s only 3k, such a small sum of money. It’s hardly going to be enough to topple your campaign. Sure people love landlords!”
My regards to The Tenant
This just keeps getting worse and worse!
Next we’ll find out that Michael Martin told him to keep the money in the first place
Agh jesus hahaha
They also lied about the housing completions figure in the run up to the election last year and then CSO figures came out shortly afterwards saying it wouldn’t even be close to the number FF/FG mentioned in all the debates
Lads we’ve known FF are a corrupt party for decades now. Actual decades. Haughey and Bertie’s legacy is a party whose corruption runs strong and deep. This can’t keep coming as a surprise, we have to stop voting these crooks into the Dáil
A party full of Landlords putting forward a Landlord to stay, for free, in a big mansion while lording it over the land.
It’s mad that we dodged a bullet with this guy. A crook almost slipped through the nets. But got exposed last minute.
Really makes you question the integrity of politics.
Fucking hell. Surely Fianna Fáil of all parties should have had some kind of list of things that would backfire on them.
Brown envelopes, landlords keeping money, former leaders that didn’t have a bank account, you know the things that make them unpopular.
This just feels so fucking on-brand for FF to me.
All the dodgy-ness, the scumbaggery, the lying.
All it needs now is a brown envelope thrown into the mix and it’ll be a full-blown throwback to the wild Celtic tiger days.
That’s probably the reason he got the push “you’re one of us Jim”
Imagine running or selecting a candidate for presidency, a “president for the people”, and not expecting a story like this to not rear a head during a housing crisis.
The absolute spoofers.
