    3. Russia has been using European criminal groups to do hacking since before 2017, as well as using drones in Europe as means to smuggle stuff.

      Data and ID theft are ways those groups can create fraud revenue streams. So chances are good a lot of people are now at the mercy of some pretty ruthless, Russia aided, people.

      Of course we’ll blame the boogeyman instead of dealing with the appalling security status and silly mistakes workers make that make this so so common.
