      We worship profit above all else in the UK so this isn’t a surprise. There will no doubt be some MP connection to the contract and some personal benefit going on.

      It’s a perfect combination of guaranteed income, a customer that doesn’t have to endure the service and a group of people that can’t speak English and have no platform to voice complaints.

      But people will be angry with immigrants claiming just enough to eat whilst ignoring the real people stealing a living…..all set up by the conservatives

      Almost like outsourcing this to private individuals is a fucking stupid idea.

      As with any political crisis, there are always a bunch of business people getting rich off it somewhere in the background.

      There is a reason a lot of these hotels choose to close to other customers and take on asylum seekers, obv.

      Not wanting to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but there is also a reason that politicians allowed “private sector solutions” rather than invest in government-owned accommodation sites.
