Treat him like everyone else then. Drag him to jail for the afternoon then let him out.
€1 would get you parking for 1 hour in Naas and €0.20 would get you 15 minutes. Councillors must be more hard up than we thought if the Mayor couldn’t stretch to that for the 9 minutes he says he was over.
“Cllr Moore said he does not believe he should have to pay the fine because he was working in an official capacity for the council at the time.”
It’s a pretty reasonable excuse to be fair.
**Update: Kfm understands that the case has been dismissed and Cllr Moore will not have to pay a fine.**
Was he clamped?
