That explains all the Robert Jenrick stories this last week or so.

‘Flushable’ wipes should be banned from being described as flushable.
This article does a really bad job of explaining how and why your mum ended up in a sewer.
I assume the next step will be for Thames Water to move the fatburg into one of our nations beautiful lakes or rivers.

It’s amazing that those Victorian sewers are still functioning so well and able to cope with modern-day fatbergs. Totally over-engineered when they were originally built.
