And they’ll return somewhere else next week, this government never learns…

They’ll end up back here as the canal cannot be barricaded off. It would be an awful look.

And then they’ll find somewhere else, the tents aren’t the problem here. This is also what happens when people start burning buildings when these people have already arrived, they’re not going to disappear cus their tent was taken. I don’t understand the logic at all.

More barricades put up, place is starting to look like a right kip. Where next for the barricades?
Such an unsustainable strategy.

“The IPAS-designated accommodation has toilets and showers; health services; indoor areas where food is provided; facilities to charge phones and personal devices; access to transport to and from Dublin City Centre; and 24-hour onsite security.”
So another bus ride to Citywest then?

And do what? Send them to some poor unsuspecting rural village? Free up another hotel?
This entire farce has to end.

Why is this being done here specifically and not throughout the city centre?

The government have no plan just waste 000,000 with barricades and wages to trash companies and Garda wages.
Give the immigrants jobs and house them. They could contribute to cleaning up the city. The councils have buildings they could even use these guys as labour, to help adapt into housing or add a new housing structure.
Government like this as it’s a political move and football they can use. The immigrants are the ones who suffer.
