Why do I get the feeling PP were prevailed upon to do this by FG… Anything to turn people against CC, make people think she’s acting like the Anointed One. Even at this late stage… Or is that paranoid?

Is this not like in The Good Wife where Peter said Alicia was going to win, and Alicia and her team were angry as it basically said to voters “no need to come out and vote, she’s already won”, leading to her losing votes..?
People think this is a PR stunt need heads checked.
Bookies pay out on stuff like this all the time, to prevent someone coming along and dropping a few hundred grand on a bet that’s almost a dead cert.
Its been over since the first debate. Connolly’s voters are motivated and angry and will come out in droves. The FFG voters couldn’t be bothered even before Gavin gave up. Connolly survived the bringing a terrorist into the Dail scandal. She is now in Trump levels of immunity. She could shoot someone in the head on O’Connell street and she would still top the poll.
From the ol water cooler talk it seems the orange order connection overpowers the hatred of lefties
