The EU needs to lift more regulations in general, it’s killing business

    2. Can’t say I hate this. It’s a different world from a few years ago when the Green Deal was negotiated and we need to adapt to the new realities.

Yea lets kill the planet for some extra $$ for the ultra wealthy.
None of this will benefit normal people.

Also I don’t know if the definition for “socialist” is the same everywhere. But i dont think calling someone who supports capitalism a “socialist” is correct.

Great. We’re back to killing ourselves with greed.

Not that we ever stopped, we just let go of the gas a teeny tiny bit.

EPP bedore the elections: Vote for us to stop the rise of facism

Being green is great and all, but how are some countries supposed to up their defence spending with a slowing economy. For example Czechia has a huge car industry and if we began dialling it down we wouldn’t have enough money for other important spendings, like defence and infrastructure.

Maybe we should slow it down for a bit, so countries that aren’t as rich as for example the Netherlands can adapt better.

Climate change is a great threat, but we currently have a greater threat in the form of Russia and possibly WW3

The plant is fucked, the uber rich know this. They’re just gathering as much wealth as they can in the hope that there bloodlines make it. The 99% are just a burden at this point with the advances in automation and AI. Every resource needed its free, only cost is labour. They’re working to eliminate that cost, and I won’t end in universal basic income.

      I hate this timeline.

Why do people have to be so evil and greedy?
And why have we created a system that enables these persons to get into positions of power?

Finally, times have changed and priorities can’t be on green rules. We must produce and reinforce the European industry to make sure we can stay rich. Only then can we get back to green rules.

This article contains a lot of gibberish. What are these things doing? Do they think they are some kind of Disney convention, talking about their little projects and who / dissed whom?
How about saving the fucking planet?

If it’s against stupid green initiatives like bottle caps then ok, otherwise that’s shit

They are in a coalition with the EPP, so some compromises must be made. Sustainability reporting is not at the heart of the green deal. As long as nobody touches the top level goals and the policy that directly leads to its implementation, I may be grumbling, but I am still onboard.

    14. The EU does not have much in fossil fuel left. Renewables are already the cheapest and simply best way to generate electricity. We are already falling behind China. Fuck those conservatives and their feelings (fossil fuel sponsors), we need accelerate not hit the break. Green policy is solid economic policy as well.

The center left soc dems and caving, name a more iconic duo.

No wonder that they are losing election after election.

Who cares. If USA, China and India wont do crap against climate change, then its a lost battle anyway.
