im amazed that as of right now, 16% of our electric is solar.
Im not naive, I doubt they will let this lower prices any time soon as investment is expensive. although i hope im wrong.
still early days really but such amazing progress has been made.
next up, vehicle to grid so we can store all that energy in the huge batteries sitting on our driveways. a regular smallish EV holds about 5 days of avg household electricity, all those batteries could feed back in when demand is high then charge back up over night when demand is lower again.
