I imagine they want to rid themselves of any potential sleepers in case war kicks off
Just for the context – there were options set around 2 years ago on how they can extend their stay and the order went only to russian citizens who havent done anything to make their stay legal.
Still treated with kiddy gloves, should have been sent out sooner. My relative taught Russians Latvian for the exam. All but few passed and won’t go anywhere. Those few were clear Putinists who have no respect for anyone and simply thought they don’t have to learn ”dog language” and will keep coasting just like they had all along.
Good riddance. Get your ‘wait in line’ shoes on.
