I find the label “progressive” genuinely hilarious. It’s the worst kind of gatekeepey “we are better than you” nonsense.

Hand up if you’re even vaguely surprised at this given the previous purges of the left and increasingly, the centre-left of the party?

Same ‘centrists’ who tell you not to care are the same ones who called Corbyn a Stalinist when they imagined he was doing the same thing

Following all the leadership issues that have appeared recently he is tightening his grip on the entire Labour machine. I suppose it was bound to happen you can’t have the level of speculation and people going on manoeuvres to continue.
We will see what the response is soon enough, the Deputy Leadership result will be out pretty soon.

When you’re at rock bottom why not keep digging? This country’s politics have been an absolute joke for decades.

He won’t stop until Nigel Farage is PM – I’m half convinced he’s some sort of Reform sleeper agent, at this point.

Great because I didn’t mean to vote for a party that represents the labour in this country I actually wanted tories one more time.

>Some aides also worry Starmer and the chancellor, Rachel Reeves, have become less interested in climate policy, choosing to prioritise reducing energy bills instead
This is good news, thank god for the Blairite technocrats that were brought in from recent reshuffle they’re trying to save the country from Miliband, people working for Ed just need to keep telling him they’re implementing his plans while doing the exact opposite to reduce energy bills.

Starmer doing everything in his power for Farage to be the next PM.

If you talk about voting Green next election, you’ll get told that you’re splitting the vote to guarantee a reform victory, and that leftists need to put their differences aside and band together.
But here Starmer is, not working with leftists but actively outing them from their party so it can go further right wing. Why should the left work with a man like that?

Remember when redditors used to claim his steady march to the right was a pre-election tactic, and he would lurch back left once elected?
