      I don’t think Google did anything wrong but they are certainly too dominant so taking proactive steps should be taken such as avoiding it being the default in chrome etc – give people the option during installation.

      Intrigued to see which way this goes as it seems big tech company regulation is a bad idea these days…or that just because labour is doing it?

      Am I missing something? Don’t users already have choice in who they do searches with by typing a different search website into their browser?

      Cringe. So Google is too dominant, even though users have a choice about who they use, yet train companies and water companies are fine? Good one you fucking bellends. Don’t even know why I bothered to look at that link.

      They spend all this time wasted on crap like this and yet none of these governments will start going after these companies for their algorithms that push negativity and division on everyone every second of every day creating a cancer to society slowly eating away at it.

      For certain searches Google is now horrendous and next to useless. They have certainly gone down hill so I would welcome some changes.

      So instead of image search, they’ll be renaming it Ipswich Search, and G-Mail is now Guv’nah-Mail.

      Youtube? YEWtube. Google Translate? Sure, but every query is turned into Scouser or Cockney slang, innit?!?!?!
