      Good. I know we’re not supposed to be happy about a murder but he’s no loss to humanity.

      I was a big Lostprophets fan as a teenager, I remember me and a mate had tickets to a HMV signing when Start Something came out and we were about 14 but we overslept and missed the train which in retrospect was probably for the best.

      I guess this means I can very occasionally go back to listening to the band on Spotify without fear of him getting any royalties from it

      This level of loss of control in our prisons is concerning. We really do need more prison funding in this country but lets face it thats always going to be politicaly difficult.

      I mean he was a piece of shit and it’s no loss to society, but what the hell were the prison doing? Not the first time he’s been attacked, the fact he wasn’t in some form of isolation for protection is quite shocking.

      I don’t like the idea of celebrating peoples deaths, but my word, this pathetic excuse of a man was utterly vile and what he did was unforgivable. His loss is a net benefit to the world and will not be missed

      This is why the death penalty is a mercy for horrendous criminals.

      People who are anti death penalty suddenly okay when it happens?

      We are either for a rules based society or against it. He was being punished for his crimes and within prison was allowed to be murdered. That isn’t right.

      Asshole ruined one of my fav bands, he showed literally no remorse whatsoever and destroyed the careers of his bandmates in the process.

      I remember personally speaking with his ex. She had a hard time having to defend herself as he almost ruined her life. It’s scary how awful people like this can destroy the lives of everyone around them.

      I’m glad they’ve taken to clarifying which Ian Watkins it is in the headlines. Lots of unnecessary outrage over the years about steps.
