…why did they wait 27 years? …and who cares? is it all part of building a stronger EU? I know, I should read the article, right? I know, I know… never mind
They’ve not visited in 27 years? And people say we didn’t make much of an effort in European relations
My guess is that Germany-UK relations being so strong in NATO and previously the EU, that there just hasn’t been any reason for something like this to happen.
More about signalling to Russia than anything else.
