I don’t believe that the Chinese will ignore this case.
In fact, this is a precedent.
The first time an EU country took control of a Chinese company instead of the other way around.

I don’t think this was a wise move against China, this hurts them in the short term but their retaliation could be much more fearsome. All of the headlines are about EU stealing assets from other countries these days.
These kind of moves will set precedents and no one will be willing to invest in EU and those who are already invested will pull their investments because they could get stolen at any moment. The EU will not get away with this, mark my words.
