Getting elected is complicated if you promise to cut the power. Unless there is an alternative.

Of course, they are not idiots. Why would they shoot themselves in the foot? This has to be done progressively as it’s not about destroying their own economies just to please trumpo.

I believe in lying politicians, I want them to lie more and continue backflipping for the good of the public, the continent and democracy the whole world around. Give em hell Peter.

not too surprising when you consider that Orban and his gang of thugs have only increased the country’s energy exposure to Russia since the conflict began. Peter Magyar has consistently supported Ukrainians defending their homeland.

Yeah, well, you can’t have everything.

Yesterday, one government aligned asshole [said](https://x.com/KoskovicsZ/status/1977771138198491443) that just the fact that Magyar gave an interview to RFE is foreign meddling in our elections, since RFE is Amerian state-funded.
(It’s earily similar to the 1956 revolutionaries being accused of being backed by the CIA, those people listened to Radio Free Europe as well.)

They already accuse him of being Brussels’ puppet and planning to make gas prices unaffordable.

He just can’t say anything that would please everyone.

Sidenote: one new member of Tisza party is a woman who wrote an anti-Putin essay was back in 2008 titled “Power, Energy, and the New Russian Imperialism”. So maybe, maybe they know what’s at stake.

This “info” came from Viktor Orban’s KGB/FSB supported propaganda machine. You have been warned.
