She was asking for an amazon gift card emailed to her friend who was sick with liver cancer. I wasn’t convinced it was from my little old lady.

They said they ‘d pay me back next week.

I kept them hanging on and replying to and fro but they got suspicious that I was on to them when I asked them to pay me back by buying my daughter a pony.
