I’ve always wondered what the history behind out of all foreign martial arts Tae Kwan Do being the most prevalent in Ireland. There was only that and Judo when I was growing up in the 2000s before BJJ/Muay Thai took the scene.

I knew someone back in the late 70s/early 80s who took this up as a teenager. It’s got a long history here.

Amazing achievement! ITF is so much cooler than WT (Olympic TKD). For those unfamiliar, it includes punches and the scoring system is more pragmatic.
