So many questions to be asked about this story, you wouldn’t know where to begin. Hope his family are informed, in the least.

Sad for the family of the boy who thought being in Ireland would keep him safe

I cannot stomach the comments online about this. The amount of racist, snide remarks as if they don’t understand that it is a teenager laying dead underneath that blanket.

Poor kid. Survived three years of Putin’s barbarism inflicted on his country, then successfully manages to flee a war-zone, only to tragically and needlessly lose his life in horrific violence, after five days in the ‘care’ of Tusla

I always find it worse when a tourist, immigrant, or in this case, a refugee, is the victim of a violent crime here.

It’s not something they ever would have been worried about when they were thinking about coming to Ireland.

A rare bit of sanity on display in the statements quoted. Good to see the level of concern for the kids and staff and not just looking for someone to fling under a bus.

The bloke who stabbed him better face some actual consequences and not another slap on the wrist from the justice system
