Let’s see how it goes, sadly this is the most organized opposition we have. I heard they were trying to build an army, but it’s not confirmed and probably not true. I hope it doesn’t come to an armed conflict.
Restored in September, they were the Parliament and Government of the country before the 1992 civil war. They do not recognise the pro-russia GD government and aim to restore democratic rule to their country. They have created an official website, email, social media, in addition to their list of ministers, youth team, etc. They have also been covered in an opposition tv news broadcast.
Their statement argues the rational of their return (as they say the Kerlim illegally overthrew them in the civil war), and their wish of recognition. I await to see when they will start operating government bodies or if they seek to be just symbolic (the later of which for be a failure for freeing Georgia from the regime).
