Ti senti in colpa per il fatto di vivere nella terra rubata ai poveri tedeschi che EKHEM non voterebbero mai per i nazisti e che erano molto amichevoli con i polacchi?😭
This stuff should be taken down from youtube honestly.

Just putting Silesians there is such a disservice, as the comment said there, they fought 3 uprisings so that Upper Silesia would be a part of Poland, something Germans were strongly against since IT was one of the most developed industrial regions on the whole world at that time. To then be called Germans by both Germans and Polish people is just baffling. Not to mention, that Silensian Uprisings are completely forgotten, even though unlike the majority of them, they were successfull

“what do you think about it?” comments are so annoying. It is just people posting controversial stuff and saying “Hey Poles an you get all pissy for me because I’m bored?”

Many of them were not German. They were descendants Poles who did not participate in Łokieteks reunifications in 1300s, and remained in their lands. Or, in case of Mazurians, run away to Prussia when Poland took annected their duchy. Or, were descendants of German-speaking Royal Prussians. We kicked themn out because they were too German, just like Muscovites believe Ukrainians to be too western.
The only reason to not feel guilty for this is because it was done by Soviets and commies.

I’m German, all my grandparents were born in lands that now belong to Poland. Their families moved west a year before the war ended, so luckily they were not forced to leave. Some other parts of the family were expelled in 1945 and 46, not everyone survived.
Still, I never felt like this was unjustified. Who wouldn’t understand the wish for revenge against German people after the crimes of the Nazis against Polish and Soviet people and lands. The German army killed whole villages when one person fought against them, we’re in no position to complain about the expulsion.
All we can do now is learn from history, be humble and stand close to our European friends and not let politicians or russian bots divide us.
