the thing is, UK is no longer in EU, Europe is divided already :
– we have the core EU democracies really wanting to keep the status quo (protectionism, cheap russian energy , exports etc. )
– we have the Russian trojans in EU: Hungary, Slovakia
– we have the flawed eastern EU democracies, that are trying to avoid ending up again under Russian hegemony, but have a leadership that would really like to keep the corruption cancer alive.
– we have the security freeloaders ( Austria, Switzerland, the other micro states that are also taxheavens )
– we have UK , the perpetual malcontent.
– we have the EU candidate states that want to catch the last bus to EU, no so much because they want to achieve new democracy heights, but because of the EU funds.
– we have the pariah and near pariah states : Serbia, Belarus, Caucazian states …
So no, UK can’t do shit to Europe, it’s empire that died 80 years ago but still didn’t get the memo.
