Hardly a surprise? I mean, russia gonna russia and surely they want to invade sb else (or more of Ukraine) in the next couple of years. Since they lost so many, it’s only reasonable they will want to replenish the stocks, of course rampant corruption and general stupidity inherent to them will play a role.
Sure, take the 10 years. Everyone knows Russia’s plans now, while they take 10 years to build their tanks back up the rest of Europe is also building up. It’ll take a year to destroy all the tanks it took them 10 years to build..
With all due respect… but in 10 years, Europe will have Russia completely outgunned. The only thing Russia can do is cause trouble much sooner.
Tanks are nearly obsolete now, in 10 years the drone wars will fully end their battlefield reign.
In 10 years, physical AI will be in the battle field killing those tanks. They are so far behind in tech this wishful plan won’t work. PE in Ukraine really ruined their chances to grow their ambitions undetected.

The amount of wishful thinking of the russians is always funny. I am sure they will also produce their 500 Superjets and other fully domestic airplanes until 2030. They have it in a plan after all. Just as they did the 2300 T-14 to be built until 2020.
This is the same plan where they plan to build 3000 civil aircrafts at 2030?
They also planned with 2000 T14 until 2020 or so… yeah, I think I will sleep well despite this news.

hmmm… Leo 2 was produced 5000 Pices and M1 likely even more. So this meager number of active Tanks may be okay for Defence, but not to deal with NATO. So they will likley pick on smaller Countries again. Trying to regain lost grip in Middle East. =/
Would be a shame if ukrainian drones undid these plans before they could line pockets of oligarchs and boost cardboard tank sales.
