“A mother whose stillborn baby was discovered in a Hull undertakers almost two years after his funeral says she is trying to forgive the man responsible.

Following the ceremony, her family were presented with an urn of ashes. They were informed by police in March 2024 they were the remains of an unidentified stranger.”

How psychopathic must one be to keep a deceased baby for two years. There surely would have come a time when he realised his mistake, maybe a few weeks after the burial. Yet, he clearly showed a complete disregard for the babies family. Absolutely disgusting.

An incredibly strong woman. I can’t begin to imagine what they’re going through.

Anyone listen to the podcast Noble? I wonder if this was a similar situation?

I honestly thought this was going to be about the undertaker who kept dead babies in her house and sat them in front of the TV before their funeral.

      This is way worse.

Funeral directors and funeral services (in general) are not fully regulated in England and Wales, more needs to be done to establish they are fit and proper. The damage they can do to families with acts like this is immense.

There’s a Podcast calles Noble that showed what happened when a similar issue happened in the US. It goes into detail how a funeral home became overwhelmed and ended up storing hundreds of bodies and human parts on site. There was a huge FBI investigation into what caused this to happen.
