L’appartamento che sto affittando ha un buco nel muro tra la cucina e il corridoio, immagino sia stato aperto per la ventilazione ma sembra orribile; il muro è in cemento e ha uno spessore di circa 7,5 cm e il foro misura circa 75×14 cm.
Vorrei chiuderlo e installare una presa d’aria da 10×60 cm per non disturbare così tanto la ventilazione. Dovrei parlarne prima con la società edilizia (Gesobau)? Qualche idea su come, se necessario, essere fai-da-te?

If your change is permanent, then yes you have to talk to your landlord first. If it’s not permanent, you don’t have to. How? If there’s nothing easily available from a Baumarkt or Amazon, I personally would whip something up in my 3D printer. If you’re more handy with wood or metal, then use that.
If you’re renting, ask the landlord first.
I would put the fan in, fill the rest with spray foam, cut off the foam und plaster/paint the rest.
