If I combine this information with the news from Ukrainian media that have published on this sub, Russia will face an economic collapse in the near future, followed by a direct dictatorship and a rationing system. This will be followed by military uprisings, the fragmentation of the country into smaller regions, and a civil war between all the factions.
Russia is fairly close to conquering Kupiansk, Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk, they obviously wouldn’t agree to cease hostilities along the contact line until those objectives are completed. Their current main goal is to conquer the entirety of the Donbas, so they might even want to wait to see if it’s possible to reach Sloviansk and Kramtorsk first. Ukrainians have held very strongly around Lyman and Siversk throughout the entire war so I don’t think it will happen but from Putin’s perspective, there’s not necessarily no harm in trying for another year or so.
Russia is playing Trump like a fiddle and Trump really believes he can get their oil industry under his control.
The only thing keeping Russia away from chaos is Putin staying away from windows. He could be gone tomorrow
