      Honestly not understanding the spoil the vote. Your vote won’t count, the government have already clearly demonstrated they don’t give AF what the people of Ireland think, and while people are hoping to send a message, they just don’t care. You’re wasting your time and petrol to go spoil a vote so some poor sod of a volunteer has to count and tabulate all this to have the same result. Pick the least shitty and vote for them or start a new party. I don’t live in Ireland anymore, but I wouldn’t be getting behind the spoil your vote BS tbh.

      I’m sick of these fools. They always resurface. They’re like mould that just keeps returning no matter how many times you treat it. A part of me wishes Steen was on the ballot. She might do a Casey on it and get a solid percentage of the vote, but I doubt she’d be anywhere near winning. Hopefully, then, she’d skuttle off under a rock for another few years and we wouldn’t have to hear much from her.

      Maria and her fellow travellers need to realise that whilst this election is imperfect and has defects and abnormalities in the number of candidates, it is too far along to be aborted. Irrespective of the distress it causes them, it must be carried to term. They must learn to #loveboth remaining candidates.

      I wonder if half the headbangers who seem to have her up on this pedestal know what her actual views are. If she had her way we’d all be living back in the 1920’s, of course with the exception of owning €20k+ handbags.

      She always seems to come out of the woodwork whenever this country is trying to push for positive change.

      If someone does spoil their vote it doesn’t matter how they do it. The how is not reported. Incorrectly marking the paper is the same as writing another person in.
      But they know this. They’ll use others ignorance to claim all spoiled votes were for her

      It’s amazing how easily controlled people in this country can be, they actually believed and still believe that posh prat was on their side and would speak for the lesser people of Ireland. You can almost smell the fine geal coming from her

      It literally doesn’t matter how you spoil your vote. This call to action of an American style “write in” of this candidate’s name is pointless (of course I know that’s part of the cunning plan). A ballot spoilt this way will just be bundled up with the ballot paper where the voter put an X beside all three candidates with no clear preference, and the ballot paper where the voter drew very poorly rendered male genitals all over the ballot.
