I recall a cat protection place temporarily banned black cats from being adopted for a few days before and after Halloween.

Due to people being shites, they were using the black cats as toys at best, and doing evil shit to them at worst.

I still spit three times over my shoulder if one crosses my path in front of me. Other than that, thy are as sweet as all the other coloured cats.
