Separate incidents struck oil facilities in Hungary and Romania on Monday, both processing Russian crude, prompting investigations by local authorities.

Fire in Hungary’s primary refining facility, operated by MOL Group near Százhalombatta outside Budapest, erupted Monday evening. Regional firefighters assisted plant personnel in controlling the flames. The company reports work has resumed at portions of the complex unaffected by damage. The facility receives Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline system.

      Well accidents do happen.

Why do I feel like this was orchestrated by Russia in order to pin the blame on Ukraine in attempt to worsen relations between EU and Ukraine.

      Today: “It’s Russia!”

In 6 months: “We don’t know who did it.”

In 1 year: “Well there is that Ukrainian guy …”

In 1 year and 1 day: “X UE-country refuse to deliver the main suspect to Y UE-country.”
