      Wasn’t there an article published some time ago that related the story of one of Ireland’s most famous journalists driving erratically and at high-speed through Rathmines and Ranelagh, well after midnight, with the husband of his mistress clinging to the bonnet of the journo’s car while screaming blue-murder and threatening wholesale carnage if he could get his hands on the home-wrecking hack, whose amorous assignment had been interrupted (“in flagrante delicto”) by the irate husband, tipped-off about the shenanigans between the journalist and the femme fatale in question…?
