Un veterano che ha perso le gambe in guerra ha aperto con sua moglie uno studio di danza a Lviv

36-year-old Oleksandr Zhavnenko from Lviv had been dancing since childhood. It was on the dance floor that he met his future wife, Marichka. Together, they performed in the folk ensemble *Mriya* (“Dream”).

After the start of the full-scale invasion, Oleksandr joined the Azov Brigade. In October 2024, he suffered an injury that resulted in the loss of both legs. He underwent treatment, prosthetics, and rehabilitation at the *Unbroken* Center. Once he mastered walking on prosthetic legs, Oleksandr fulfilled his dream of dancing with his wife again – and began working toward another ambitious goal: opening a dance studio.
