      I hope so. The hands off approach used in the past when it comes to dealing with these rabel rousing thugs was pathetic and led to many getting brazen with what they felt was acceptable behavior at these “protests” which in part led to the likes of the November 2023 riots and what we’ve seen the past few nights.

      Well….whatever they do, it seems to work. It’s 9pm and unlike the last to evenings, I haven’t heard the helicopter yet. Here’s hoping I finally get a good nights sleep…..

      Bollocks. There isn’t enough prison spaces as it is so it’ll be suspended sentences all round. FFG lack of investment in prisons over successive years especially when population rocketed is now coming back to bite them…

      Honestly, I think these riots will continue and only get bigger. And bigger. Existential threat to the government. Their reaction? Draconian measures. Society split between “rioters” and “peacefuls”. Putin might start bombing Western Europe too. Then the “rioters” initiate full-scale revolution. A scenario worth considering.

      The bodycam footage released shows how dangerous it is for the guards, especially the regular guards without helmets or shields. The guard about 15 seconds in dodges a brick or bottle directly aimed at his head before the public order unit move in.
