Il Consiglio per le riforme chiede aiuto all’opposizione per effettuare tagli dopo che la ricerca “disperata” di risparmi non è riuscita

“please help us spread the blame so we can use it as a political weapon come election time”

As an opposition leader my answer would be

“Help? Sure. Resign your seats, tell the electorate you’re not up to the job, and we can all put our ideas to the electorate and let them choose”

On the doorstep, they promised to “reduce waste and cut your taxes.”
Once elected, they did neither, waste hasn’t been reduced, and council tax is going up.

I suppose we’re just expected to “suck it up,” since they clearly have no intention of resigning for misleading the public.

I work with local government and broadly speaking on the ground people make cuts. We aren’t sitting around lavishly with nice equipment, additional staff and fancy lunches.

I’m not surprised reality is hitting them hard.

Almost like this vast sums of waste which Nigel and Tice jumped on about didn’t exist and running a council is alot harder than they made out.

Unlucky, hopefully people will see how badly Reform would be at running country since they cannot run a council, I won’t hold my breath though as the electorate are into punishment.

A symbol of what they could achieve: nothing.

They can’t achieve anything because they have no knowledge or experience of that which they claim to have the answers for.

So far Reform are shaping up to be a collection of sex pests, fascists and dimwits.

I really look forward to watching them embarrass themselves over the next few years as the above becomes more and more apparent
