    1. The part about the uni “going German” is interesting. Is that across the institution, or more about specific faculties or disciplines?

      How is it a loss of multilingualism if one predominant language is simply replaced by another.

      The preferred language for research publication is English. Most foreign university students at Uni.lu require courses to be held in English because it’s the language they already know. So, it makes total sense for the university to pivot towards English. The dominance of German is mostly due to faculty being German speaking, but I believe that English will become more and more the main language on campus and in lectures.
