I really hope this makes people stop and think before hitting “share.” There’s no excuse for adding to someone’s grief like that. Just because you *can* post something doesn’t mean you *should*. A bit of basic decency and empathy online would go a long way.
Access to the internet has left so many people absolutely fucking demented
My friends are no saints but I can’t imagine any of them taking the notion to send something like that to anyone
Like if someone asked you why, how do you even begin to explain your thought process that led you to sending someone a picture of a dead person?
47 year old woman. What hope is there young people when a brain dead in their 40’s does something like this.
Scumbag.
Good, throw the book at her. And keep doing it until this ghoulish nonsense stops.
Getting internet likes over someone else’s grief is despicable.
Humanity will never not have its share of tactless, empathy void turds. Social media has just accelerated the behavior.
Good, have some respect for the dead.
Disgusting behaviour
My aunt and her cousin were hit by a car while getting off a bus and killed. The incident had been in the national news all week. At the funeral, while we were bringing the remains from the house to the chapel, some lad who worked at the petrol station, next to the gaff, whipped out his phone and started recording the procession as we walked up the road. The lad didn’t give a fuck.
And just like that people are suddenly all for the UKs approach to policing speech again. Gas.
What gets me is who the fuck is she sharing with. I can’t think of a single person I’d send something like that to without their reply being ‘why did you send me this?’.
I couldn’t imagine sending that to anyone….wonder if she has mental issues
It’s a morbid thing to do. I work in construction in New York and there was a guy one day showing a video of an accident where somebody died. One of the foremen absolutely lost it with the guy showing the video in front of everyone. Asked him how would he feel if that was him in the video or his family or friends. He put the phone away quickly. It was the same after Charlie Kirk was shot and people were posting and sharing videos. Why do that? At the end of the day someone is dead and there are kids without a father.
Do the Gardai have the same ability in the South?
How tacky does someone have to be to take such a photo and share it with people? Seriously? Some people have no standards or respect.
