12k votes should have easily been enough to secure the win for Reform. But labours drop to 3k votes allowed the 13x loser Plaid candidate to soar to victory. 14th time being the charm for him.

That’s rich coming from an explicitly nationalist party that wants secession
> Plaid Cymru…**Welsh nationalist political party in Wales, committed to Welsh independence from the United Kingdom.**
Got to laugh at Welsh Nationalists pretending they’re anything but divisive.

While I am glad Plaid won, and tactical voting works when people do it (I wish we didn’t have to do it thanks to our silly electoral system), a third of people voting for Reform is still concerning. The Reform candidate was hardly a heavyweight either.

if anything this really highlights just how unstable our democratic system can be, despite the monoparty duopoly we’ve had for decades. Labour will be deeply shitting it. they’re going to get wiped out at the local elections next year, and then the chaos will only get worse.

If Wales thought Brexit was bad, wait until they separate from the rest of the UK

Positivity? 2 Nationalist parties trying to gain power? Both are based on hating different demographic groups.
