Why should I care?

Thank you mate you got more awareness than some of us here…
But i also gotta say reason that some people also stop defending their peoples (not goverments) interests is also a bit understandable. Since years people here have faced unending wave of negative things happening in the country that some people just want to get out and stop caring. May not be the right approach but i think thats the sad reality.
Some people that have commented on this post is genuinely crazy. They straight up say “We don’t care” or “It’s directed towards Erdogan and not turks so its fine.” No bro its directed towards the whole nation, its not fine at all. Someone will see that ig post and think that Turkish people and government hate and dislike christians, which is not the case. People should report this account if possible.
he can and probably will do that one day so i wouldn’t say its completely false, its only problem is timing i guess.
if westerners dont want sth like that to happen they should cut the support to erdoğan.
While the post is one-sided and biased, it is based in reality.
Turkey has been blocking the entry of some foreign pastors and missionaries and deporting some since 2019. The government uses immigration codes N-87 and G-87, which are for people who pose a general or national security threat. Christian groups and Western governments have been vocal in criticising Turkey over this, saying it is against the freedom of religion.

I don’t get why comments of this sub is generally hateful, I mean thank you OP for informing and warning us bc that’s obviously bullshit and fake news, you can actually report that on instagram or twitter. On some degree, I do understand people fed up with that bc like 70% of news about Turkey is already wrong, or biased if nothing else so people do not wanna bother to argue with foreigners, but we do need to correct those bc it already got viral on twitter and im sure many people buy it without searching. They even vandalized Turkish history pages of Wikipedia so we need jobless obsessed people to deal with this racism and hateful slander, like those cunts already do.
[Here we see the Chief of the Hellenic](https://ibb.co/7xmVrv6C) National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Houpis, presenting a map of Thrace to Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. The image itself is quite absurd, the spiritual leader of Orthodoxy accepting a gift from the Greek Chief of Staff.
I genuinely love Christianity. I believe it helped nurture a culture of humanism in Europe. Feuerbach’s philosophical and atheist interpretation of Christianity is, in my view, brilliant. To me, Jesus represents profound love and suffering.
However, religions have often transformed themselves into symbols of national identity. When we talk about Orthodox Christianity today, we immediately see it tied to the national pride of Greeks, Serbians, and Armenians. This fusion of faith and nationalism creates a negative environment for Turkish identity. It pushes Turks further away from Christianity and from Christians. And of course, in a country where many Muslims remain uneducated or dogmatic, this hostility only grows stronger.
What’s this USA puppet Erdogan up to now?
