      This is utterly unacceptable not only does it undermine the integrity of the election process and disrespect those who undertake the democratic act of voting, it also disrespects the administrative staff who handle this with care. The fact that the ballot was placed in a biohazard bag after discovery only adds to how far beyond normal spoiling this is.

      Absolutely disgraceful. Is there anyway this person can be identified? Surely someone in the room noticed the smell or seen the vote card being placed into the ballot box covered in shit. They must have had a bag in their pocket and then covered the ballot paper in the voting room. Jaysus, this is some trump level nonsense.

      Someone actually had to formulate a plan and spent some time formulating a plan on how they were going to put shit on their ballot and worked out the logistics of it.

      I’m a presiding officer and I’m most curious to know how they achieved that. The ballot paper goes from the book, is handed to the voter, and is subsequently brought to the ballot box. This is very puzzling.

      I say this as someone who is currently losing a long-time friend to this far-right nonsense…these people are not all there in the head.

      The more violent ‘footsoldiers’ are just your local scumbags who now feel they have justification for their criminality and the more polite ‘moderates’ (such as in my friends case) seem to be mentally ill people who fell down a rabbit hole during covid.
