He was arrested immediately after committing the offence against their daughter, successfully remanded and convicted based on the strength of their investigation, and then caught less than 36 hours after being stupidly released by the prison service, despite going to ground in a city of 9 million people?

So government are now saying they can deport him. I have a few questions if anyone is able to answer?
1) why didn’t they deport him earlier?
2) considering he’s been found guilty what happens now will he serve his sentence in Ethiopia? If not then there’s nothing stopping him being back on a boat to the UK within weeks and committing the same crime.
And if that happens I fear what the UK government will do to the victim to save face 

By all accounts the offender himself seems to feel massively infuriated after trying to return to the prison on multiple occasions. The next scene in this utter parody could be him suing the prison service for emotional injury.
