Cork needs Fota zoo and it’s brought me plenty of great days be more than happy to give something extra to help it stay afloat AND a cash injection from the government who absolutely should be doing stuff for areas like this.

They’ll sell it to the vulture funds. Then even the fucking penguins will be paying two grand a month in rent.
Eventually most non profits/great amenities like Fota will suffer financial pressure from random events. If you let them fold they are stupidly hard to replace. We will have nothing left. No issues fund it. I hope to bring my future kids to it.
This is perfectly reasonable. Such things should be protected.
