      It’s strange, the article doesn’t actually mention that his passing away is related to the injuries from the attack.

      I presume that it by the fact it’s being reported at all but there’s no mention of it at all.

      Would there not normally be a “from complications/injuries sustained” blabla?

      Pearse street Garda station is around the corner from Templebar. It’s a know problem spot and I think it would take minimal effort to have some patrols walk through on a regular basis.

      Unfortunately the gardai have other priorities namely manning IPAS centres
