Scene alla stazione Connolly di Dublino questa sera. La gente dice che non c’è personale delle ferrovie irlandesi da nessuna parte che possa essere visto in situazioni pericolose e schiaccianti. Evita la zona se puoi!
Ciò è apparentemente dovuto a notevoli ritardi e cancellazioni. Questa sera ci sono seri problemi sulla DART e sulla rete dei pendolari. Uno spettacolo di merda completo di un servizio.
Irish Rail staff can be useless sometimes, you actually get more info from twitter than them most of the time

Massive delays on all routes too and buses are now full and can’t pick people up.
Most people waiting atleast 30min on the dart for any update, which is usually incoherent through a broken speaker.
Well done Irish Rail for creating a chaotic situation, all of your own creation, which could have been avoided if you communicated with your passengers and had any sort of standard…

Irish Rail’s general service is excellent and very reliable. From decades of commuting to Dublin only twice can I remember a train even being more than 15 minutes late.
I do despair that the reflex of Redditors and others on social media is to go full monkey flinging shit mode when something does go wrong rather than having a level of understanding.

The Belfast train just departed 35 minutes late. Hopefully we won’t need to resort to cannibalism, but still too early to rule anything out.

There is an issue with Maynooth service, a dart is stranded in between rn lots of guards rushing to the spot with ambulance and fire brigades.

Christ I don’t envy any poor commuter trying to get home after a long day and facing that
This at Pelletstown so probably the reason for the chaos

Trains are back running again

On the Newbridge train – they parked a Howth train at Tara St for I’d say 20 minutes and then finally told us to go to Platform 2 for the Newbridge train.
Point failure at Dalky and debris on the tracks at Kilester.

The Irish rail website is citing a “Tragic Incident” on the Sligo/Maynooth line 😔

Irish Rail have tweeted to say tragic incident on the line at Pelletstown. Train is stopped about 100m away from the station, paramedics walking the tracks with flashlights. I wouldn’t expect service to resume any time soon.
Yea I couldn’t get on my bus coming home, 3 wouldn’t let anyone in because it was full and then one was cancelled

I got the train from Heuston to Waterford yesterday, carriage letters weren’t shown outside, so nobody knew their carriage, previous trains bookings showing on the little screen thing so nobody knew where to sit, people running up and down the train stressed out getting in scraps over seats, no info given, no staff to be found.
Train stopped on the tracks for 40 minutes, then we were told there was an issue with their signaling system. Someone beside me told me they found someone online complaining about the same thing from 5 hours ago.
If you know theres an issue and people are going to be delayed just let them know what to expect, maybe offer them help when boarding if you know that all your systems are fucked.
Such a bad experience.

Staff? That is a strange word. What is this staff you speak of?
